Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located
only a few miles west of Las Vegas in Mojave Desert. It is known for its
towering red sandstone peaks and Keystone Thrust Fault among other things and
has a 13-mile one-way loop road that offers spectacular panoramic views of the
area.
We liked the place so much that ended up visiting it twice. The second time with my sister's family who joined us in Las Vegas a day later. It is something that no one visiting the area should miss.
