Visiting the Venice beach in Los Angeles, at least to see the sun set, is a must. We made sure to plan accordingly to get there right before sunset. It was a nice and clear day. We were a tiny bit late but still caught part of the sunset.

Los Angeles - the pit, Hollywood blvd (part 2)
While visiting Los Angeles we actually stayed in Holiday Inn in Pasadena, a suburb. The view right in front of our hotel was spectacular.
An active pit. It is currently being excavated to recover bones that have been found. There are flags planted to indicate where the bones are.
Famous Hollywood Blvd. We went there at night. Parking was a little issue but eventually we found a parking lot nearby and was able to park in reasonable price. From there we walked around.
Street artists offering various types of services. The woman in red jacket in the image is drawing a portrait of the boy sitting in front of her.
This young man were painting these pictured using spray paints and they were really beautiful. He was selling them for only $30.
The all famous Hollywood stars. A few actors that we are fans of.
Every large city has its share of homeless people. It is a sad reality that even in a rich and advance country like America there are so many homeless people. I live in Canada and we surely do have our share of it too.
From the lobby of our hotel. Hear-achingly beautiful.
